We’re Geoff and Candace — adventure-seekers, budget travellers, visual story-tellers, and ice cream fanatics. We’re passionate about many things, including environmental sustainability and helping others live outside their comfort zones through the ways we’ve been inspired in our travels.

Alberta-born and Toronto-livin’, we’re both curious and adventurous kids who love a good challenge and choose the path-less-traveled. We’ve been exploring this beautiful world together since studying on university exchange.
Although we currently work in the corporate world, we were always creatives at heart. Candace is the one who captures the beauty in our everyday life within her “photo diary” (aka. her phone’s album) which will not be short of 15,000 photos at any given moment, while Geoff is the photographer with a keen eye.

We believe that seeing the world is a beautiful way to learn and grow while gaining a greater appreciation and understanding for other people, cultures, and landscapes. However, we acknowledge that traveling is a privilege and not accessible to everyone. This is not something we take lightly. We have a responsibility to be good stewards of the privilege we’ve been granted, and one of the ways we’ve committed to doing so is through this interactive travel journal where we share with you our research, learnings, and tips along the way.
We hope that our processes, perspectives, mistakes, and advice will make your life a bit easier and help you make the most out of your money and experiences. While we are avid researchers and planners, we always leave room for spontaneity, of course!
