If there’s one thing we’ll never do another mu

If there’s one thing we’ll never do another multi-day trek without, it’s anti-blister socks! (ad)

We’re so grateful @wrightsock sent our whole girls hiking group matching Explore Crew socks for the Salkantay Trek last week.

In case you haven’t yet experienced it (🤞), blisters are the fastest way to ruin a hike, especially one that spans 81km at 4650m altitude on rocky terrain.

Not surprisingly, none of us needed blister tape because of our awesome socks!

Sometimes the best trips aren’t about chasing the perfect photo… they’re about the little things, like the 75km of hiking, frost bitten mornings, or salty meat sticks that only taste good in the backcountry when you’re with your friends ☺️

Anyways, I finally had the time to pull some of my Berg Lake trip photos from the camera and share them with you, but we’re already on our next trek in Peru (which has finally left the group chat!!)

I’ve been thinking a lot about the weird juxtaposition that fall is and also chatting with friends who are feeling the same way.

this shoulder season always feels like this weird mix, with everything speeding up and the holidays coming, and trying to squeeze in all things we want to do before the year ends.

At the same time I’m tired. It may not seem like this from all that we share about here but behind the scenes life’s chaotic! I want to slow down but the world continues to move 😵‍💫 I know I’m not alone in feeling this.

So i made this little reminder for both me and you that it’s ok to feel both…ambitious and tired, excited and exhausted, ready to chase big things and also needing a quiet moment.

sometimes the best thing you can do is notice where you are right now and give yourself a little grace.

I just wanted to check in…how are you feeling as we head into the last couple months of the year? My dms are always open if you need to chat ☺️
