Send these summer bucketlist ideas to your adventure buddy! ⬇️

Isn’t it such a privilege to have warm summers so we can do all these things?

Here’s what we’ll be doing:
🎒backpacking and disconnecting off grid
👯 spending time with new and old friends (follow to see when our next group hikes will be!)
🏕️ camping and yapping over campfires
💦chasing all the waterfalls
🍔 eating food outside (even when we’re not hiking, we literally just take our dinner and the dog to a nearby hill!)
☀️catching sunrises and sunsets
✈️ going on that trip you’ve been dreaming about
🏃🏻running lots of trails and races

If we were to only get 75-80 summers (the average life expectancy is 80 years 😳), I’d consider us pretty lucky :)

Don’t wait til you’re retired to do what you want - live every day with a grateful heart that you’re alive and well! 🥰

POV: rich because we found you 🥹

A few weeks ago, we were so lucky to be able to hike with some of the sweetest souls who found each other on Instagram.

Many laughs were shared, new friends and memories were made, and numerous mango slices were eaten 😂🥭

Vancouver is notorious for being one of the loneliest cities in Canada, so it’s always been on @tellez_g’s and my hearts to change that narrative. Now we feel so blessed to be able to do that, one hike at a time!

At 8am we gathered at Tunnel Bluffs (you probably saw my previous reel of us testing out the original planned routes, and if you wondered which we chose, the answer’s none of the above) 🙃 Spring hiking conditions 1000m+ in snow just aren’t pleasant for such a big gathering so we had to make the call to change the trail.

This group hike, we got treated with special gifts from @wildandwilly (beautiful iron-on / Velcro Vancouver patches) and a pick-me-up from @guruenergydrink for the early morning start.

The weather was absolutely perfect and spirits were so high! We hiked until 12pm and then headed to a pub in West Vancouver for a post-hike hang.
